Tutorial:
Discussed what each person would focus on over the break, below is listed what we are each focusing on and need to do:
(Team) Do more research for each of our subject areas and had a bit more written text to Etty by April 1st.
(Team) All photos about our work and research to be edited and captioned correctly by Seb and Tammy.
(Nev) Book design research, look at grids, type size and stuff related to books from the streamline era.
(Nick) Do a timeline on what products and transport from the era, look at Streamline information design.
(Ben) Research into streamline clock and how they are made.
(Ryan) All referencing information to ryan so he can reference it all in the Harvard referencing way.
In the text we decided to talk more about one item each, these consist of cars, trains, planes, products and buildings. We must focus on one specific item of each. Below is a list of what each person is doing there text on:

Cover Designs
Here are some graphics that I have generated for our book cover. Because we are thinking about producing a sleeve for our book, I looked at producing concepts where the an aluminium sleeve is cut into revealing the colors of the book cover. The graphics that I’ve generated are an inspiration of movement, visual depth and perspective; which are common elements that are found within book covers and posters of 30′ – 50’s.
